Understanding the fear of recurrence in heart attack survivors
This is a RESEARCH study performed by a doctoral candidate at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). For this study, we are gathering information about the thoughts and feelings of those who have had a recent heart attack. We want to understand your feelings surrounding the possibility of having another heart attack.
If you qualify, you will be asked to complete surveys on your feelings and opinions about your most recent heart attack.
To receive compensation, you must complete surveys, informed consent, and HIPAA form. After this is received, you will receive an Amazon gift card for $5 via email address provided.
Six weeks after the initial surveys, you will receive an email to once again fill out the same surveys to understand how these thoughts and feelings may have changed over time. You will again receive $5 in gift card compensation.
We will make every effort to maintain your confidentiality. No one will know that you have participated in this study unless you tell them.
If you are tired during the surveys, you can take a break and return later to finish.
If you are uncomfortable answering a question, skip the question.
